Upgrades

Being a TACA HORIZONTE DISTANCIA member can be very rewarding and beneficial since you, among many other things, can receive upgrades to Business Class when purchasing a ticket with any of our Flexible, Benefit or Access.

To be eligible for an upgrade, it's important that you provide your DISTANCIA number when making your reservation.

Our upgrade policy applies to you and any companion you choose as long as you are both on the same reservation. Please consider that this benefit only applies to you and one (1) companion, if there are more than 2 people on your reservation, we will not be able to provide you with the upgrade.

• Upgrades apply exclusively for HORIZONTE DISTANCIA members.
• Upgrades will be confirmed as long as there is availability in the Business Class courtesy-assigned seats.
• If a passenger has previously made a change in his/her reservation (date, flight or other) and a penalty applies, the fee must be paid first in order to be eligible for the upgrade.
• Courtesy upgrades do not apply for award tickets, passes or when traveling in the Promo Fare Family.
• Upgrades apply exclusively on TACA flights.
